It's nearing the end of August which means it's time for my monthly edition of Courtney's Current Crush List! It's where I share with you the things I'm currently loving and using and think you *need* to know about. I am in no way affiliated with these products. They are simply of my own opinion, and I love them! :) And I think you should too!
I take my planners very seriously! Technology is great, but nothing will ever compare to that of a paper planner! I've tried a lot of planners out there and this year, I decided to give Emily Ley's Simplified Planner a whirl. It runs August 2019-July 2020 so as my first official month using it, I'm still adjusting. The hardest part is only seeing two days of the week at a time when I'm used to seeing a full week in one spread. But what I do like about it is that each day is broken out into hours so I can plug in appointments or tasks accordingly. Each day also gives a To-Do list section as well as a Notes section and on Sundays, there's an extra Sunday Prep section for getting you ready for the week ahead.
Next up - Life Wtr Bottles
Before you get on me about wasteful plastic bottles vs. reusable water bottles, let me just say that I, personally, do a better job of getting in my daily water intake by drinking from this style of water bottle than any other! AND I will reuse it for a solid week or more before recycling it. I'm the lady buying SMART water bottles in the store 2 and 3 at a time because I always have to have one around.
Just the other week I made a Wal-Mart run and needed a new bottle, or two. The art on these Life Wtr bottles instantly caught my attention so good job, PepsiCo, on your marketing and design!
As a creative, how could I not get behind a product that supports the creativity in others...
LIFEWTR is a premium bottled water brand committed to advancing and showcasing sources of creativity. We believe inspiration is as essential to life as water, because it unleashes our creative potential. That’s why every few months we launch a new series of LIFEWTR bottled water focused on a unique aspect in art — putting the spotlight on three new emerging artists.

And Finally... R2 Blast Roller Ball Pens
You guys, these are my FAVORITE writing pens and they are from the DOLLAR TREE!!! They are my go-to pens for hand-lettering envelopes or messages in cards. And just the other week, my neighborhood Dollar Tree had my favorite pens in fun, bright colors! Always offered in the generic blue or black, I was so excited to see them in purple, pink, mint green, orange and light blue that I bought doubles of each. They come two-to-a-pack so guys, you can't find a better bang for your buck, literally! They last forever and the ink rolls out smoother than silk. RUN, don't walk, to your nearest Dollar Tree! You, and your wallet, will thank me later!
Until next month,
