I panicked because our world revolves around technology these days and I wasn't sure how we would pivot to get "back online" until it was fixed. But the more I thought about it, maybe this was exactly the forced break we needed to unplug and just be content with what we had!
The kids played outside all afternoon, I enjoyed the quiet of a TV and screen-free house and Phillip and I had legit conversations!
And when we absolutely needed to get back online, I was thankful for friends who let us crash at their house while they were away so we could keep up with school!
