2020 in Review...

2020 wasn't all bad...

Friend!! I've missed you. It feels like it's been weeks since I've popped into your inbox but really, it hasn't been that long at all. We're just stuck in that space between the holidays and the new year where everyday feels like a Monday, or Sunday, because I have no frame of reference for weekdays vs. the weekend right about now.

Anywho, I hope this finds you cozied up with a cup of coffee before we all say toodle-oo to 2020! Because that's exactly where you'll find me today - cuddled up in my PJ's, lost in a book I'm eagerly trying to finish with no plans to leave the house! But before we say good riddance to the year of 'Rona, I'd be remiss if I didn't stop and reflect on the good that happened this year, in large part thanks to YOU! So here we go...

GROWTH - Literally as I type this, I am overwhelmed with gratitude at the shear growth of The Painted Pearl since April! I can't even begin to put it into words!  So I'll put it into a few numbers...

* 1,080 orders year-to-date.
* 47 Thursdays of popping into your inbox.
* 17 Virtual craft classes.
* 3 New retail partners.
* 3 Magazine moments in local publications.
* 1 team member added {hey, Ava!!}

GRATITUDE - My heart has never been more full! At the age of 38, I finally feel like I've found my calling and I'm doing exactly what I'm meant to do which is to wake up each day and foster this sweet business of mine. It brings me so much joy that not one day ever feels like work, even when I'm hustling late at night to fulfill those orders.

GEARING UP - 2020 was so good to The Painted Pearl that I honestly don't know how I'll top it! But you all have given me such motivation to hit the ground running in 2021 that I can't help but be excited for what lies ahead and I hope you'll continue to join me on this journey!
