My Able Obsession

I'd like to think I'm not easily influenced, but let's be honest, we've all hit that add to cart button before because someone we follow told us to, right?!? This is not that kind of post {But there is a sweet deal if you keep on readin'.}

I love a good leather bag and I've never met a tote I didn't tote-ally adore! Same goes for a good pair of flats because I'd land flat on my face if I walked around in heels!

A few months ago, I was watching the instagram stories of someone I follow who was raving about these quality leather bags from a company out of Nashville, TN.

"ABLE is an ethical fashion brand that employs and empowers women as a solution to end poverty."

So I splurged and bought a new tote to haul around my laptop and all the things that go with me when I leave the house to work from a secret location. {aka somewhere away from the distractions of my house and kids!}

And I threw in a pair of ballet flats while I was at it and y'all, these are by far the comfiest flats I've ever worn! Like a grown-up version of Sam & Libby flats! I dare say they are way more comfortable than my Rothy's, Tieks and Sam Edelman ballet flats!

So here's what I got, why I love it and a special offer for you at the end of each one!! Ready?!?

The Abera Commuter in Cognac
I wanted a simple, smaller everyday purse that held the essentials + looked good as a crossbody bag. The Abera Commuter is just that and I can honestly say my purse is less junky meaning it's easier to find things because it only holds so much! I also like that it has handles so that if I don't want to use it as a crossbody bag, it's still an ultra-femme handbag! This bag does feature an interior pocket and a zip top closure.

The Selam Tote in Fawn
I initially purchased this bag as a slim work tote and loved the two front outer pockets. While it's long enough to hold my laptop and maybe a notebook or two, the space I needed to haul around additional technology and all the paper goods just wasn't there. So I've transitioned this bag to be used as either a larger tote-like purse or a bag for carrying my watercolor painting supplies on-the-go. The Selam total features one interior pocket and no top closure.

The Mamuye Classic Tote in Cognac
I
nitially, I wasn't going to get this bag. I just couldn't imagine a use for it knowing the Abera Commuter and Selam Tote would be my go-to purse and work tote. But gosh am I glad I got it! Since the Selam tote ended up not being large enough, the Mamuye has been the perfect carry-all tote for my laptop, calendar, notebooks, wireless keyboard and all the other little things I need when I'm taking work on-the-go. It features one interior pocket and no top closure. If you only get one bag, let this be the one!

The Ariel Ballet Flat in Pink Sand
Last but not least, my impulse buy because I love a good flat! It's all I wear outside of the house, with the exception of the occasional tennis shoe. The soft leather feel and the cushioned insole makes my feet feel like they're walking on air. These run true-to-size and currently come in three different colors/patterns. Seriously debating on the leopard print flats because, why not!
