There's something about bitterly cold weather that gives me all the feels for hot cocoa, family room fires and knitting! A little known fact is that before The Painted Pearl I had a teeny tiny, albeit brief, knitting "gig" I called Snow Peas. I specialized in baby items -heirloom cardigans, baby bibs, toddler kimonos and the occasional adult-sized scarf.
